The Honest Truth You Never Heard In Church About Commandment # 3 The Name
Immediately following the attack on the absolute diety of Jesus Christ, this Universal Church abandoned the practice of invoking the only name whereby we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Throughout the New Testament, the powerful name of Jesus had been spoken over every Gospel convert at their baptism. This "Exclusive" name would not fit the new Roman theology. However, if the "Name" could be replaced with non-specific "Titles", (titles such as "Father" which pagans might see as "Zeus", or "Son" which they might see as "Hercules") then it would create a more "Universally" acceptible baptism. This they did in short order, thus today it is very rare to find believers who know anything at all about baptism in Jesus' Name. SInce the Word of God is clear... "Be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sins" (Acts 2:38), Satan has worked to hide from the church the keys to remission by replacing baptism in the "Name" with baptism in the non-specific "titles", thus establishing a church which disregards God's third commandment... "THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN" Covenant Apostolics, however, by baptizing exclusively in the "Only Saving Name" believe and keep this commandment, thereby rejecting Rome's "Nameless" baptismal formula.
