In the year 325 A.D. Emperor Constantine held a councel of the newly formed Roman Universal Church. The encyclopedia "Britanica" records that this meeting was held in the city of Nicea. The primary purpose of this meeting was to develop and impliment a more Roman i.e Pagan and therefore more acceptable view of God.
